Our Lace

Dentelle de Caláis-Caudry® lace is the result of two-hundred-year-old French techniques of beautiful craftsmanship and timeless elegance. It ensures the superior quality of the historical lace produced since its beginnings in the renowned lace factories in Calais and Caudry using the precision of the leaver's looms and highly skilled manual labor that combines technical mastery and precision.

Our Lining

Our lining is made from TENCEL™, a fiber from renewable derived wood sources patented by the Austrian company Lenzing. These sustainable wood fibers are harvested from certified and controlled sources following strict regulations. In addition, the wood and pulp used by the Lenzing Group come from sustainably managed FSC® accredited forests. TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers have been certified as Bio-based under the U.S. Department of Agriculture's BioPreferred® Program.

Composition & Care

Lace: Cotton 70% Rayon 20% Polyamide 10%

Lining: 100% Tencel

Given its delicacy, lace must be treated with the utmost care and attention to avoid damage during washing. Ideally, it should be hand-washed. Avoid drying it in full sun so as not to weaken or discolor the fibers. Do not bleach or tumble dry. If necessary, iron it at the lowest possible temperature to avoid cracking or burning.
